Tenderfoot Fish Hatchery to Brohm Lake - Sat Aug 12, 2023

My third annual hike and swim trip. The hike from the Tenderfoot Fish Hatchery to our spot on the rocks at Brohm Lake was short, steep and in the shade. We parked our cars outside the fish hatchery and wound our way through the forest, over a small bridge, up a boulder field past some climbers with mattresses at the start that were practicing their skills. Then up two sets of stairs until a short while later we found a beautiful spot right beside the lake. We had a swim, followed by a leisurely lunch, followed by another swim, before we headed back down to the cars. A beautiful sunny day with a fun group of people.
