Here is Eleanor’s write up from the Saturday 28th January 2023 trip up Hollyburn.

It was a beautiful clear day as five of us met at the Cypress Parking lot. We decided on spikes over snowshoes as the snow was reportedly hard packed. There were plenty of other enthusiastic snowshoers and spikers on the trail as we made our way up the mountain, stopping sometimes to admire and take pictures of the spectacular views. We reached the summit around 11:00 had an early lunch and celebrated a club member’s birthday with a sweet and a song before heading downhill. A lovely time was had by all.
