Seymour River Walk, September 11th 2021
Seymour River Walk: Riverside Drive to Spur 4, September 11, 2021 - report by Glen, Photos by Brenda
This walk had eight registered but one member decided not to come as they had cold symptoms. The others on the walk were grateful for the consideration. The walk was nearly 20 km with minimum elevation changes on a cloudy day with only the occasional light shower. The ”Heading Home” photo shows what much of the trail was like. Along the trail we saw evidence of the “Homestead” that was in the valley, see photos “Green Gable” & “Homestead Hearth”. There was evidence of logging and water pipes, see photo “Flume Tunnel” and the salmon were migrating. See photo “Migrating Salmon
