Five members ventured out early on Sunday morning. Spikes were needed after about 1 km. We managed to get to the base of first pump where it got windy enough that we probably wore every layer we’d brought.
We decided to climb to Tim Jones peak. Saw one solitary hiker, a YAM - young adult male, according to Alex & Heather.
On our descent, we slid down a few trails & came across a few more groups coming up.
Weather looked promising, but it was mainly overcast with a few breaks of blue sky. No precipitation, tho.
It was approximately 8 km return, 400-500 m gain, in about 4.5 hours.
