Eagle Bluffs, via Black Mountain, November 19th 2022

Afsana writes:-

A group of nine, including a guest from Surrey & one from Seattle, headed up on a gorgeous and sunny, but cool morning to Eagle Bluffs, via Black Mountain. Spikes were perfect for the conditions.

Once we took off a layer, we were good til the bluffs. It was warmer there than at the parking lot. The ravens were curious, but we managed to not have anything nicked.

Views from Black Mntn & the bluffs were gorgeous!

We returned via the undulating trail to the junction with the steep descent to the parking lot. Heard whoops from the skiers nearby. Saw a few groups of young people heading up in runners. Wonder how many will ask for proper footwear or spikes from Santa?

Arrived to see long line ups for the lifts. A great day in the outdoors for all.
