Three Bridges Bike trip

Four intrepid adventurers set off on a brisk morning from the West End on 22nd May 2021. The intention was to head to the Port Mann Bridge, then Golden Ears and back downtown over the Pitt River Bridge. 109kms later we were back in the West End. Although the ride is relatively long it is mainly flat apart from the stretch north from the Pitt River to Mundy Park. A better (i.e. flatter)route wasn’t available due to a) TMX work on the river bank and b) trail closures at Colony Farm. This was a superb bike route with very little busy road riding, mainly trails, protected bike lanes and residential streets.
