Louise, Iain, Tamsin and Maya gave a slideshow on their adventures to Greenland where they travelled in August of this year.

They backpacked the Arctic Circle Trail (165kms) from Kangerlussuaq to Sisimiut which took 9 days to complete. Hikers need to fully support themselves carrying food, camping equipment and personal items and be prepared for ever changing weather. Fortunately, we enjoyed good weather throughout our trip and only had rain one night.  

Each year at our annual Christmas party the NVOC raises funds and makes a donation to the Harvest Project in North Vancouver to help those in need. Several members generously donated items to be raffled off and we raised $220.
